Grown in the hot climate of the Sierra Foothills, our 2021 Port exudes a classic ruby port style, made from traditional Portuguese varietals.  The color is a deep opaque purple.  Aromas are diverse: dark chocolate, orange zest, dried plum, pepper and clove.  Flavors of Mexican-style spiced cocoa, blueberry syrup, dried cherries and ripe blackberries marry well on the palate.  This young, fruit forward ruby port is ready to drink now, or can be aged for years and years if you prefer. 

Our 2023 offering of Sauvignon Blanc is pale yellow in appearance with a slight tinge of green.  The aroma is filled with scents of lemongrass, grapefruit, green apple, and finishes with light mineral notes.  The palette is fresh, crisp and dry.  The mineral notes shine in the mid-palette while the grapefruit and grass linger on the finish.

This 2020 Santa Cruz Mountains Syrah from Nelson Vineyard is beautifully purple and inky in color.  It opens with aromas of black pepper, black licorice, and floral potpourri.  More subtle aromas of blueberry, blackberry, and baking spice follow as the wine opens up.  On the palate dark fruit and peppery spice flavors are married nicely with sweet and toasty oak.  Mouthfeel is plush and luxurious with soft tannins, balanced acidity, and a lingering finish. 

This 2020 Syrah from Dorcich Vineyard in the Santa Clara Valley is a new addition to our lineup.  The wine opens with aromas of blackberry jam, fig, and subtle black pepper notes.  Grown in a warm growing region and harvested nice and ripe, the flavor profile leans more toward fruit and jam than pepper and spice.  This wine is rich and full bodied, but incredibly soft tannin structure makes it ready to be enjoyed right away.

This wine offers aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, white peach and nectarine.  The palate follows suit with bright flavors of stone and citrus fruits, and a nice element of minerality.  This medium-bodied white wine has a bright acidity and finishes with persistent flavors of sweet tropical fruit. 

This 2023 Old Vine Zinfandel opens with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, clove, and cinnamon.  The palate is fruit-forward with flavors of black plum, cranberry, and ripe cherries.  Some cool-climate Refosco was blended in to add depth and complexity.  The wine is medium bodied, with rich tannins and a lingering jammy finish.

Less sweet than our regular Mead, this wine finishes with a lingering crisp pomegranate and honeysuckle impression. CHAUCER'S Pomegranate Mead is 100% gluten-free.
