This 2022 Dolcetto has a red brick hue. Primary aromas of tobacco, rhubarb, and cedar wood fill the nose. Secondary aromas of black pepper, potpourri, and cranberry appear as the wine is consumed. This wine is full bodied with a vibrant acidity and big tannin structure.

A blend of three Northern Italian varietals, the 2020 La Vita has Dolcetto leading the way, followed Nebbiolo and Refosco. Primary scents of cardamom, cinnamon, tobacco, and potpourri fill the nose. As the wine opens secondary scents of cranberry, currant, and red fruits begin to appear.  On the palate the wine has a bright acidity, creamy mid-palate, and a lasting savory finish.  The extended barrel aging of 30 months allows the wine to integrate and soften the overall mouthfeel.

This Santa Cruz Mountains Merlot comes from Regan Vineyards, our estate vineyard in Corralitos.  Aromas of dark fruits, plum, blackberry, cherry, and rhubarb please the senses.  Secondary notes of clove spice and cocoa powder add to the complexity.  On the palate the wine starts with ripe and rich flavors that are then cut and complemented by a bright acidity.

The word Ramato means ‘copper’ in Italian. Named Vino Ramato because the wine develops an orange copper hue from Pinot Grigio grapes being vinified like a red wine. The grapes are crushed and fermented on the skins for 13 days to develop the color and unique texture. Aromas of dried fruit, apricot, and orange peel fill the nose.   On the palate the wine has a mouthwatering acidity and slight tannins to give it a lengthy finish.
