The French phrase “Blanc de Blancs” means a white wine made from white grapes, in this case, chardonnay.  Primary scents of citrus, pear, and apple fill the nose. Secondary scents of lychee, crem brulee, hazelnut, and almond begin to appear as the wine opens up. On the palate this wine is a harmonious combination of creaminess and sharp acidity. Sparkling wine is probably the most versatile wine when it comes to pairing. It can be enjoyed with an array of cheeses, meats, salty foods, fried foods, and fruits.    

Blanc de Noirs Sparkling Wine from the North Coast showcases bright aromas of melon, citrus and cherries. With hints of peach, melon and honeydew on the mid-palate that are carried through to a lengthy finish by mouthwatering acidity.

The 2020 Santa Cruz Mountains Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of blackberry, currant, and cedar.  A blend of three Santa Cruz Mountain vineyards, this wine is full of complexity and nuance.  Dark fruit flavors are met with sweet oak, and notes of tobacco and potpourri.

The 2021 Chardonnay from Monterey County has aromas of tropical passionfruit, mango, and lemon zest.  Flavors of pear, meyer lemon, and green apples mingle well on the palate.

A blend of both clones grown at our estate vineyard, this reserve blend is the very best of Regan Chardonnay.  The Mount Eden Clone expresses minerality and vibrant acidity, while the Clone 4 brings rich, ripe fruit.  Pleasant aromas of butterscotch and lemon zest dominate the nose, with notes of green apple and stone fruits underneath.  Luxurious and well-integrated French oak elevates the wine beautifully.

This 2021 Dolcetto has a red brick hue. Primary aromas of tobacco, black pepper, and toasty oak fill the nose. Secondary aromas of potpourri, cranberry, and anise appear as the wine is consumed. This wine is full bodied with a vibrant acidity and big tannin structure.

A blend of three Northern Italian varietals, the 2018 La Vita has Refosco leading the way, followed by Dolcetto and Nebbiolo. Notes of black plum and cranberry are met with black pepper, licorice, and savory spice.  32 months of barrel aging have allowed this wine’s firm tannins to soften up beautifully.

Primary scents of cardamom, cinnamon, tobacco, and potpourri fill the nose. As the wine opens secondary scents of cranberry, currant, and red fruits begin to appear.  On the palate the wine has a bright acidity, creamy mid-palate, and a lasting savory finish.  The extended barrel aging of 30 months allows the wine to integrate and soften the overall mouthfeel.

The 2019 Central Coast Merlot is a beautiful deep garnet color with perfect clarity.  Fruity aromas of plum and black cherry mingle with notes of cocoa and roasted coffee beans.  This Merlot is medium-full bodied, yet soft and approachable. Dark fruit, savory spice, and cocoa flavors linger on the palate.

This 2020 Santa Cruz Mountains Merlot comes from Regan Vineyards, our estate vineyard in Corralitos.  Dark fruit dominates the nose, with aromas of plum, blackberry, and black cherry.  Smoked meat and cocoa powder notes add to the complexity.  On the palate the fruit is ripe and rich, but not overripe or jammy.  This full bodied Merlot will only get better with time, as its rich tannins continue to soften.

This 2021 Reserve Merlot has a beautiful deep garnet color and opens with intense and complex aromatics. Notes of blackcurrant, plum, and black cherry fill your nose and entice your palate. A touch of Cabernet Sauvignon from Bates Ranch has been blended in to add complexity to the aromatic profile, bringing richness and softness to the palate as well.  The tannins on this powerful Merlot are full but soft. The finish is long, carried though by a lasting acidity one expects from our cool-climate Santa Cruz Mountains Merlot.

This 2022 Muscat is bursting with tropical and stone fruits. This wine is introduced with its crystal clear, light straw color.  Aromas of honeydew melon, peach, mango, and papaya jump out of the glass.  The flavors are full of honeysuckle, orange blossom, apricot and sweet pear.  This wine is off dry with slight acidity, creating a sweet sensation that is then cut by the acidity.

This vibrant and fruity Pinot Grigio is comes primarily from two vineyards in Monterey County, with some Santa Cruz Mountains fruit from our estate vineyard blended in.  Citrus and tropical fruit aromas jump out of the glass.  Notes of key lime, guava, orange blossom, and peach develop as the wine opens up.  Balanced acidity and a lingering citrus finish leave you wanting more. Lively, bright and refreshing, this wine is perfect for a hot summer day. 

The 2021 Pinot Grigio from Santa Cruz Mountains is vibrant with notes of lemon rind, lemongrass, and orange rind.   Flavors of ripe, juicy stone fruits tango with vibrant citrusy notes on the palate.

This unfined, unfiltered 2021 Mount Eden clone Pinot Noir is fruit forward yet complex, with a delectable richness on the palate.  Ripe red and black fruit aromas are complemented beautifully by elegant French oak.  Intense flavors of black cherry, blackberry, and boysenberry dominate the palate. This is a rich and full-bodied Pinot Noir, as is typical of the famed Mount Eden clone.  Tannins are elegant and smooth, giving it a wonderfully plush mouthfeel.

This rich and fruit-forward Pommard clone of Pinot Noir is known for making a great stand-alone wine, and grows particularly well at Regan Vineyards.  The color is a beautiful deep ruby on this unfined, unfiltered Pinot Noir.  The wine opens with aromas of toasted vanilla bean and baked cherry pie.  The palate is lively with ripe cherry, strawberry, and raspberry flavors.   The wine is medium in body with rich tannins, and a refreshingly clean acidity that contributes to a lengthy mouth-watering finish. 

This 2021 Pinot Noir is terroir driven, characterized by earthy, stony, and mineral notes. Strawberry and cherry aromas are vibrant and fresh, not overripe.  Delicate and balanced, this Pinot is a food lover’s dream.

This estate-grown 2021 Reserve Pinot Noir contains all four clones of Pinot Noir grown at Regan Vineyards; Pommard, Mt. Eden, Dijon, and Martini.    Aromas of bing cherries, cherry cola, fresh strawberries, and potpourri tantalize your senses.  The palate follows the nose, but adds juicy acidity and fruity pomegranate and cranberry flavors.  This wine is medium-bodied, with mouth-filling tannins and a long finish.  Notes of toasted vanilla, cola and baked cherry pie linger on the finish. 

Grown in the hot climate of the Sierra Foothills, our 2021 Port exudes a classic ruby port style, made from traditional Portuguese varietals.  The color is a deep opaque purple.  Aromas are diverse: dark chocolate, orange zest, dried plum, pepper and clove.  Flavors of Mexican-style spiced cocoa, blueberry syrup, dried cherries and ripe blackberries marry well on the palate.  This young, fruit forward ruby port is ready to drink now, or can be aged for years and years if you prefer.
