Tasting Notes

This 2022 Dolcetto has a red brick hue. Primary aromas of tobacco, rhubarb, and cedar wood fill the nose. Secondary aromas of black pepper, potpourri, and cranberry appear as the wine is consumed. This wine is full bodied with a vibrant acidity and big tannin structure. Although Dolcetto is historically known for being a low-acid wine meant to be drunk early, this Santa Cruz Mountains rendition has plenty of acid and structure to age beautifully.
