A blend of three Northern Italian varietals, the La Vita has Nebbiolo leading the way, followed by Refosco, and Dolcetto. Primary scents of rhubarb, potpourri, and tobacco fill the nose. As the wine opens secondary scents of cherry, cranberry, and currants begin to appear.  On the palate the wine has a bright acidity, creamy mid-palate, and a lasting savory finish.

This estate-grown Nebbiolo takes you on a journey back to Northern Italy, where the Bargetto family began their winemaking tradition.  The color is a medium garnet, with a slight brick orange tinge around the edges.  Mushroom and rose petal aromas are reminiscent of an old world Barolo.  Notes of cranberry, cassis, and anise develop as the wine opens up.

The word Ramato means ‘copper’ in Italian. Named Vino Ramato because the wine develops an orange copper hue from Pinot Grigio grapes being vinified like a red wine. The grapes are crushed and fermented on the skins for 13 days to develop the color and unique texture. Aromas of dried fruit, apricot, and orange peel fill the nose.   On the palate the wine has a mouthwatering acidity and slight tannins to give it a lengthy finish.
