BW CABERNET SAUVIGNON SCM RESERVE 2019
Tasting Notes
The 2019 Santa Cruz Mountains Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of blackberry, currant, and cedar. A blend of four Santa Cruz Mountain vineyards, this wine is full of complexity and nuance. Dark fruit flavors are met with sweet oak, and notes of tobacco and potpourri. This Cabernet Sauvignon is full bodied with firmly structured tannins and a long, full finish. To achieve this texture and mouthfeel, the wine was bottled unfiltered – Don’t be alarmed if some natural sediment has formed.
Suggested Food Pairings
Meatballs with Bolognese, prime rib, aged sharp cheeses and bittersweet chocolate.
